This works for a Dell Vostro 1400, even looks a little more heavy duty than what I originally had, which is nice. OEM dell version, just as pictured, you do get what you see.

I used this to replace an XPS m1530 power adapter. Shipping was fast and the item was exactly as shown in the image. I'm not sure if it really is OEM (it sure looks like it but what do I know). All I know is that it powers and recharges my laptop perfectly while it's running unlike a few others I've tried. It also seems to generate less heat than my original. This has a higher revision number than my original as well so maybe the design is more efficient. I'm thinking of buying a couple more since these Dell power adapters are for crap and I'm sure it will fail again in a year or so. That's not a knock against this supplier but Dell.
