If you want an advise. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.
Fortunately, I never plugged in this adapter in my laptop. I only connected this piece of junk on the outlet wall and it started to generate lots of sparks.
Check this out the other comments to know I'm not the only one complaining about this product.

I bought this thinking it was the official but wasn't. Admittedly my fault. But I plugged it in and saw about an hour later my laptop was dying. I couldn't get a charge to it. I went on to return it and I started seeing all the bad reviews that I thought were people just being fussy and negative. Admittedly again my fault. But I also noticed for the next day after I used it my computer was acting funny, in ways other reviewers describe. Everything seems okay now. Guess I'm lucky it couldn't hold a charge. The one good thing I can say about this seller is that at least they know not to stand behind this product! Hope this gets to you unlike me.

Bummer!
I ordered two of these and they worked well for a month or two, then both in turn just stopped working and left me again stranded without my laptop.

This product came to me with the ground plug split and some gooey stuff in the cracks. It is poorly assembled. It stopped working in less than 5 months. My husband, the engineer, said no grounding and wire broken between the charger/transformer and the wall. He replaced the cable from the transformer to the plug and it ran decent again and was finally grounded LOL, but it never really held well where it fits into the computer either. Just loose and falls out easy.
Over all, there isn't much nice to say.
