It works fine. Only hitch is that it does not have the built in traffic receiver. If you don't pay to use the traffic alerts, then this charger is the one you want. Seems more well built and durable than the OEM charger too.

Unlike the original adapter for the Nuvi 660, this one is solidly built and doesn't seem prone to falling apart.

I broke my other lighter connector for my Garmin. This replacement is exactly what it was supposed to be and worked fine. Note that it does not have the traffic receiver in it (nor does it claim to have it). I don't have the traffic subscription so it didn't matter to me and, in fact, this was smaller and lighter because of it.

works great but is a little pricey. No third party people making anything.
It would be nice if someone would make a unit that can be hard wired into a car without using the plug in. The plug in has a transformer in it so you can't just cut it off.
