Perfect fit. Just apply a corner. Air bubble or lint? No prob. With scotch tape pull up a corner and simply use another piece of scotch tape to take off the lint. You may have to do this over and over a few times but you will not have to touch the sticky side and soon you will have a great glare free Kindle!!!
Pretty good December 5, 2009 J. Hsieh (California, USA) 13 out of 14 found this review helpful
$2- for this screen guard and I have to say it's pretty good. I wanted an antiglare screen protector for my Kindle 2 and I was skeptical because there were no reviews and not much to go by from the seller. However, I thought to try it since it's only $2, cheaper than a Starbuck latte. I was actually impressed with this product. The product indicates it have antiglare, dust repellent, 90% UV ray, and it protects scratching, scraping and resistance to erosion and finger-print. I'm not too sure if this product actually could be all that. However, I could tell you that it is easy to apply to the Kindle 2. Couple of small bubbles after application, but I am hoping it will dissipate over time. It does not block out all the glare but it is adequate. Overall, I like the product and I will order some more.
Excellent... if you can figure out how to apply it January 25, 2010 Jason MacAllister (Orange County, CA USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The packaging for the item I received did not look anything like that in the picture above. That being said, what I did receive is an excellent screen protector. There is not much glare, I was able to apply it without getting any air bubbles (apart from where there were a couple specks of dust still on the screen), and I was able to pull it off and reapply after I got off to a bad start on my first application. So, great screen cover.
The problem was knowing how to apply it. The package has instructions on the back, which do not match the two steps listed on little tabs on the pieces of plastic covering the protector itself. Even once you get past the Engrish, the steps didn't make sense. Furthermore, I think the instructional tabs were attached to the wrong pieces. By following those instructions, I first ended up applying to my Kindle the thin sticky piece of plastic that was COVERING the screen protector! Once that was on and it looked horrendous (bubbles and scratches all over it), I went back and looked at the (non-sticky) harder piece of plastic. I then realized that there was ANOTHER layer of plastic to pull off of that one, that made it sticky and enabled me to apply it. Phew!
But now that it's on, it's great. So if you don't mind stumbling through the confusing application process, I recommend this product.
Good buy April 23, 2010 Quilt Lady (USA) I really like this screen cover. The anti glare is great. It was easy to apply. I do have a few bubbles caused by bits of lint from the screen cleaning cloth that was provided. The bubbles don't bothere me much, but next time I would use an eye glass cleaning cloth instead of the cloth that came with the kit.
Kindle Screen Protector April 17, 2010 TMCOG 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I always protect the screens of my devices (iPod touch, etc) but I think this time it's not necessary. I don't know. I just don't see this screen getting very scratched and I didn't find the quality of this particular screen protector to be as good as others I've used. I took it off. I don't actually touch the screen very often and since the Kindle itself is in a cover, I deemed it unnecessary. It seemed to slightly decrease readability.
